one of my company's branch offices is up there, but i've never visited ;x

Chick e-mailed me on Wed, told me she was back from a trip to France with her girlfriend, her fiancee, and some other dude. Said she wanted to get together to do a date on a boat.

I wasn't feeling it, so I thought I'd take a few days to mull it over.

Insecure chick texts me on Friday. Wanting to know why I'm giving her the "silent treatment." She threw in some guilt saying that she didn't expect that from a "niceguy."

I respond on Saturday, "I was on a vision quest. And busy."

Today, she blogged it as the weirdest response she ever got.

We had kinda guessed that but were not entirely sure what they meant as citations. Especially since some of their uses are confusing as hell. There are sometimes footnotes that just read Id., or Infra. How do you go below a footnote?

Edit: I was exaggerating a bit we figured out they refer to other citations just not how to properly figure out which. Also Id. is still a mystery.

Id. - the same, in citations used to denote the citation is the same as the immediate last one.

LOL, to be clear though I was just venting that the only class we learn citations in has taught us shit about citations even though since classes started we have been inundated by them. I wasn't actually asking for people to google it for me. High five for the effort though.

I fear you miss the simplicity of this behavior. It helps to screen OUT those that aren't at least as interested in you as you are in them. It also helps to smoke out those that want a higher level of commitment / intensity than you do.

As a busy, attractive, successful guy, this really helps me avoid my usual niceguy urges to be sweet to every woman that bats her eyes at me. There are many status whores and gold-diggers out there, and to be able to identify them, without effort (actually, lack of effort), is priceless.

If I really really dug a girl, she'd pull out my classic romantic urges. But this type of reading helps me to realize that I don't need to (and it's not in my best interest to) chase every skirt that blows in my direction.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

I had the thought today, that if I met a girl that had a tattoo, just below her bikini line, that read, "sorry your princess is in another castle," I'd propose immediately.

As an addendum to what Rummy said, its screening, at least with OKC I usually reply.

Recently though I gave someone a few pointers to get them to go away, never lead with "you're sexy then proceed in conversation to drop compliments while having a profile that just oozes "I want a man with a steady job to take care of me and have kids with"

Don't tailor your responses to the women. Tailor your women to who you are. Just be who you are and the woman you do end up with will be much more suited to you.

I woke up at 6AM, got to the beach at 7AM, then left the beach at 10:30PM. Volunteering for a college event.
