Stuff like that is so cool. I've been lucky enough to get into a B-17 before, and it was amazing. They actually flew in to the airfield we were at, it was so amazing.
This one flew in the day before, however I missed it landing because I was in the basement of my building.
It is one of the only two still flyable Lancasters (the other in Britain) and the only one that gives tours.

I love how one of the posters as we were waiting said something like "This is the only Lancaster in the world that allows tours. Consider that before entering."
Basically "we're letting you on our plane so don't be a fucking dick"

Time to plug this shit again:
WHEW! That Lancaster is from my home town in Hamilton, Ontario. Represent. When it's not flying all over the country, it's kept at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum up on the mountain. It's by far the biggest attraction though.
I miss having the Brunswick Naval Airbase here in Maine, there were all sorts of events that had all sorts of cool stuff to crawl around in/on/under.
I got to sit in the cockpit of an F-14 Tomcat once when I was like 11, that was about the most fucking awesome ever.
Then they went an' closed it. =/

This is Caff you're talking about, and you're surprised irregardless? Funny stuff.
You should find out about their hours flexibility, but the combination of reduced commute distance and pay increase stacks, so you're actually looking at a much more significant increase than 25%. Is it more interesting stuff than what you're doing?
I still think it will be pretty boring but it will be a bump in responsibility and pay.
As for grammar, when is a word considered a word?
Websters recognizes it as a word that is "used infrequently", I also
remember this being called "not a word", but it is recognized as well.
In short, any utterance of letters that is understood in the common vernacular is a word. Deal with it grammar nerds.

APPLAUSE
Grats, Caff!
You could negotiate for more vacation days. Which they probably would give you. If you didn't have hair like a hipster.

Read the book, a lot is missing from the movie that I think would have helped it along greatly.
Did you see any men with burgundy jackets with an axe buried in some poor man's chest?

Also got my Zune HD today, picked it up off amazon for $100 because they said it was an open box unit that had minor cosmetic damages to it. The only thing that had any damage to it was the box so I got $80 off my zune because the box had a couple of dents in it 8)
