My job continues to go well. And surprisingly, the construction is still on schedule for the new store that I'll be working in. The date we get in to start training is still tentatively set for the beginning of September, barring any issues.
Also, I'm pretty good *Revolver Ocelot* with the customer service aspects of the job. Working for a grocery store kitchen is so much fucking better for me than a regular restaurant. I think I need that customer interaction. And I'll be getting so much more of it at the new store, since we're going to have so much more stuff, and people will be coming to us (the cooks and stuff) with questions because we'll be the food experts for the store. We're the ones that need to know how to do things, what to recommend... a whole ton of stuff, and I can't wait for it.
If I came into the store I could say 'Make me a sammich' and you would?
[/quote]Probably, yes. Depends on what you're getting at. The new store will have a made to order sub shop.
Aww man, moved into my new place. It's not as nice as I thought it was initially, but I can make it home. Saw my grandmas on both sides of the family, got to Rush at Red Rocks (it was fucking amazing!!! Nothing like singing along to limelight with the rest of the crowd, and their instrumental bits are almost orgasmic in concert) and now all my friends are starting to trickle back into town for college.Â
haha, thanks, At0m.
I told her (sushi girl) that I'm separated, not divorced.
She kissed me, and suggested a third meeting location. Dive bar.
I'm gonna make like Crow and W+1
+1 +1 +1.
Rummy, I wish you luck in your manwhoring.Â
In other news I think It's been a week since I've slept at my own place. Her friends are starting to take bets on relationship milestones.Â
From now on Rummy is my role model :-*
Blockbuster online just added game rentals with no late fees...for free. In addition to 3 movies at a time and free blu-ray, this is pretty awesome.
Today, my grandmother bought me a bottle of body soap.
She sez, "I was shopping at the dollar store and I thought you could use this."
She hands me a cheap, black, plastic bottle.
The label reads, "Score. The Seduction Fragrence for Men."
Thanks for the protip, gramms. Muchas Gracias.
(sushi girl agreed to upscale pizza for a third meet. topless girl wants a phillies game. woman in queens called me last night. co-worker (hot, who I've sweated for years. she wears patterned stockings), who invited me to lunch out-of-the-blue yesterday invited me, tonight, to happy hour. and another quickmatch).
Also, started reading the best book ever this morning. check the book thread, nerds.

Go to her.
And wait, A phillies game? Are you a philly rat too?
I got the original Half-Life with expansions yesterday and have started playing it for the first time
Don't blame me too much for the lateness, my parents are the sort that wouldn't allow me to play these sorts of games until I'm 15. I actually got my first Steam games last year via the Orange Box, so I think I'm catching up pretty well considering.

Don't worry about it, mine were the same way.

I like the control, comfort, roominess and peace I get from apartment life but I wish at the same time I could have the dorm-mate friends you'll get, and the crazy spontanious "get out there and live" fun that dorm life offers.
Takes a lot more effort to do the same when you are "settled down" in an apartment fresh out of the high school living-under-parents situation, at least in my perspective.
This has already been kinda discussed before tho here
