I've never heard of him/the band. What of it?

Gogol Bordello - "Wonderlust King" Side One Dummy Alright this is p awesome. I said "guy" because my friend described the band as, well, this guy.
I saw them on Conan once and thought they were genuinely awesome. I need to get their albums.
Things like Gogol Bordello make me a little proud to have some Ukrainian heritage... but just a little.
Anyways, got Minecraft working on my work PC, time to enjoy my work day.
Dammit this came too late, sorry Tim.
The White Stripes inspired me to learn guitar.
The Black Keys taught me how to play with soul.

I will laugh, heartily if the supreme court upholds the ruling, as this would make same sex marriage legal everywhere (I think...)

The lawyers fighting for gay marriage are a famous liberal and a famous conservative - the same two that fought on opposite sides in Bush V Gore. So these are the guys Bush and Gore go to when they have something important to fight out and they are working together on this. The only thing standing in the way is the religious right and I don't think they really have the constitution on their side.

Equal Protection I think wins out here when the only justification you are using for the law is legislating your private moral objections to something that really doesn't have any effect on you.
Non politics!
The Primus show was spectacular. Gogol Bordello was great, and I got some of their stuff so I could hear actual lyrics. And Primus was just awesome, tho sadly no Tommy the Cat. You can find the setlist on their website (primusville.com.) Some guy threw a beer bottle up on stage which interrupted American Life. So they went on...and then finished the song after a few other songs.
Dad finished work early today and brought home my
shiny new mouse. Very comfortable, tracks well when set to my preferred 1800 DPI, and more importantly doesn't have the broken left clicker my old mouse of three years had developed. I had been putting up with it getting more and more multifunctional over the last couple of months, so it's
really nice to have something that works properly now.
We did our final maxes for summer weightlifting today.
I went from 130 to 150 for bench, and 235 to 305 for squat.
went for a bike ride tonight, very fun
