Just got a 3% raise, backdated to the beginning of the month. That's the second time that's happened this year o_0 (got one back in Jan/Feb as well).
My Impostor Syndrome's been acting up lately, but apparently I've been doing something right.
Got everything set for my 3rd day helping out on a local shoot tomorrow as well as finishing a book for a class I've been trying to get done.
Was at Rutgers football game yesterday, friend gets a call, his friend can't make the Yankee game that night (ALCS Game 1). Tickets were offered to us, we accepted. I've got a phone interview with Amazon sometime in the next few weeks.
I'm starting training to become a Consultant Level Two at my job next week. I finally will get to actually work on computers as a job, after more than a year of waiting for the opportunity.
Couldn't get experiments to work for 2 months, wasn't getting anything else done due to classes/TAing, was on the verge of quitting grad school, but sister talked me out of it and told me to stick out at least the rest of the semester.
Next day, experiment works. ???
