Helping the roomies start some homebrewing today.
Got birfday presents from my folks. A book and a new bookshelf.
I had burgers and beer tasting and watched Princess Mononoke in a movie theater with some friends. I think this fulfills my social interaction requirement for the next year or so.

The Landmark Theaters in my area have been showing every Miyazaki/ Studio Ghibli film for the past couple of weeks. I might venture out to see another even if I do it alone. They are great movies and are even better when experienced on the big screen.

I would kill to see any Miyazaki movie on a big screen,
especially Mononoke. You are a goddamn lucky man.

[/quote]Check the listings of your local art house theatre, I'm sure it will pop up there. Or even better send them an email asking them to show the films.
Building lost water around 10am, so they told everyone to go home by noon. Not nice to have 500 people in a building who cant poop.
I leave around 11:15, run an errand get in at 12:15, see an email stating the water was back on at 11:50am.
You do not tell a building full of train commuters the building is closing then expect them to stay around. I saw no less than 3 people get up an leave immediately when they announced it to catch a train.
For my birthday I got a set of Audio Technica ATH-M50s and $115 cash. Also my friends bought me a steak and a cake.
