Making expensive sandwiches is a much better job than trying to convince angry people to keep using a service they have no desire to continue using.

Do you get a discount on these expensive sandwiches? Cause then that'd be even better.

Why wouldn't I want to be part of the sandwich of the month club?
I started a new position at better pay about 3 weeks ago. There was an understanding that the pay would be comparable to a previous mechanical position I held - it was not.
Today, I punched HR square in the face for a raise. 100% effective; didn't even need to pull out the C-bomb.

That's pretty legit. Our company policy when I worked there was only 50% during your break ONLY. We ended up making extra stuff by "accident" and the managers usually wouldn't care. Especially the chill bro chill ones.
Broke in my new handgun today and gave it a nice thorough cleaning after I got back.
The smell of Hoppe's NO. 9 is so calming to me.

Where'd you go shoot? The Delaware range? Or some place closer?
My province's outdated alcohol laws have finally been updated to allow for growlers and brew pubs (seriously).

Went out to Delaware, although they're kinda shit to have to go all the way out to for me ever since they restricted it to 100 yard targets for rifles. Only reason I head up there anymore is for the pistol range and Norton's has good deals every so often.

I'll give you that, but like we discussed they are suppose to be giving it a major overhaul soon.
According to the teams master the place got approved for a$5 million update. Voice triggered trap and all kinds of awesome stuff planned. Though my dad is lucky, he lives in an open shooting county now... So he can just step on his porch at any point and start shooting.

I got a full time job offer here in Gainesville! Pay isn't great but it's still a hell of a lot more than I'm making now. The downside is, they want me to take a drug test this week, and I only quit smoking two weeks ago. Advice?
Drink a lot of water, sweat profusely and exercise heavily, prey to a deity of choice they're only taking a piss sample and/or only looking for hard shit like coke or heroin.

Is there any physiological backing to that?
