Started the first of 10 work-outs with a trainer today. OH DEAR GOD THE PAIN.
Do Circuits, then you can be a real man.

Eh, most likely true, but I'm a guy who just recently restarted exercising after months and months of...well, not. It was exhausting, but hopefully I'll get better with it over the weeks. I'm also dieting by selecting healthier food choices (good bye delicious fast food/microwave dinners/binge eatings) by having smaller portions to eat with as little sugar and fats as possible. Today I had half a roast beef sandwhich before and after my work out accompanied by a cheese stick. No soda either.
So, during the great Ubisoft Online Store 1 Dollar for Everything Mass Failing, I preordered RUSE for a dollar. Obviously, it wouldn't go through in the end because they could refund my money before the game came out. So, I get an email yesterday confirming this.
Quote:Recently you Pre Ordered the game R.U.S.E. The Art of Deception from the Ubishop. Unfortunately, the offer that you used to discount the product was not valid
with Pre Orders. For this reason, we have had to cancel your order.
No biggie. I wasn't expecting it to work anyway. So, I check my email today and I have another email from Ubisoft.

WHAT WHAT WHAT?!
Well, I'll be damned.

Pretty much. I'm incredibly surprised at how well Ubisoft is taking all this.

middling to mediocre rts with the ruse gimmick, basically you get cards called ruses that will do something, usually to distract your opponent, such as one that sends a bunch of fake tanks to their base. i only played a little bit of the beta and didnt really like it
When you're up to it, Circuits are 2 minutes of something like pushups, mountain climbers, leg raises, situps, jumpies, etc. followed by a 100m windsprint (no jogging, pussy) and immediately into the next thing you're doing. So pushups -> windsprint -> leg raises -> windsprint. You do that without any rest time for an hour or two. I'm not sure exactly how long we did them for because our coach was berating us the entire time and we were doing it shirtless on asphalt during a florida summer.
Made my day: Got 107% on my first AP Physics B test of the year. I also got a 77% on AP US History test, which is pretty much the hardest course at our school.
I love it. Our teacher is amazing (she has a 91% pass rate on the national), and I'm in a 6 person study group which includes 2 of the top 5 people in my class.
But AP Physics B is still better.
