I dunno man, if I weren't related, I'd totally be knocking down my Nana's door  ;D

And I hate to suggest a member title for myself, but Crow said it not me >_>
I've discovered with family that once there is no one involved in anything younger than 20, everyone gets a lot more tolerant about fun, raunchy shit.
Hell I pretty much didn't hear any of my dad's navy stories until I was halfway through college, and I didn't hear the other half until my mom divorced him.

see my family would probably be fine playing shit like this but with my cousins getting married and having kids at our family get togethers there's usually a few young kids running around so CAH is a no go, all we get is apples to apples
But i could always bring some other good board games that are less well known and are ages 8 and up, like munckin
Dodged a bullet. Lined up to board my flight behind the family with 2 screaming kids. Im in 1st class and they're in steerage with the rest of the peasants

Today was Day of the Doctor Day.Â

I'm really pissed that someone spoiled it for me, but I thought it was a good episode nontheless. David Tennant has definitely aged these past couple years though. Also, War Doctor is best doctor.

Billie Piper looks like she's been enjoying life since leaving the show.Â

Do I need to have seen season 7 for this?
I wouldn't say so, but it's probably not a bad idea

I know someone whose first episode was "Day of the Doctor". It's still really good. But you'll go back and watch season 7 real soon, anyway.
Bonus in my paycheck.
Loan bullshit paid off.
Offer accepted on my next home.
Called parents and didn't have a fight.
Got a message from a girl to the effect of "why aren't we hanging out more?"
Co-worker gave me some delicious serrano ham and manchego tapas because they were too intense for her.
This week has been pretty fucking awesome.
Sister sent me a text yesterday asking what games I wanted for Christmas, so I told her about Steam and showed her around it a bit, and now she's got her own account and bought both of us Spelunky.
Cards Against Thanksgiving worked well. The thing I didn't plan for is playing with my stepfather, who dropped out of school in 10th grade and is only semi-literate, so we had to read most of the cards for him. It did not stop him from winning, though, he had an innate sense which were the dirty cards.
The best moment was when he played a card and had no idea what it meant. I pulled out a 20-sided die and we rolled, whoever got the highest roll had to explain it to him. His son won, and then proceeded to explain to him what "pixelated bukkake" is.
Cards against humanity was great with my family as well, lots of crying with laughter, it was a blast.
I did enjoy that, if you wished to buy the game on their web site on black friday it would cost $5 MORE across the board for all their products.
Ordered new Mobo, Ram and Processor. Â
edit: and a new monitor. ... finally after so long I will shake loose the 1050 resolution bane..
I also played CAH with my family on Thanksgiving. It was a little weird because Grandma was the big winner. The only things people got stuck on were the overtly sci-fi references. Not sure how I should feel about that.
