My two favorite bands. <3
I am ready for the BEST FUCKING SUMMER EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
out of curiosity... why the fuck is it called a blues fest... the entire headline line up isnt remotely blues...
[/quote]
Rush is actually going to play a cover of Muddy Waters

See Cisco started as a pure blues fest a while ago, then realized it wasn't bringing in enough people and was losing money each year, so they got newer groups to get ALL DEM KIDS OUT
also now that 'indie' in a huge thing in ottawa, most of those unknown bands are gonna be watched over the other popular ones.
IM STILL GONNA GIT A WEEKLONG PASS

Is it bad that i've looked at lots of shows at bluesfest and gone "ok that one im doing mdma, that day acid," etc?

My quality of life seems to have really gone up in the past two days, thanks for the words of advice and knowledge everyone!
So my uncle is a pro photographer, and I got an email from him today. He was at a Montreal Canadiens game a while ago, and took some pretty sweet pictures. I now have a few high res pics to use for tags/wallpaper/whatever (Cammalleri taking a shot on goal, Halak making a save, and Darche hitting someone).

This interests me. I would like to take a gander, if you're hosting them online anywhere.

Can he go to tonight's game too? Get the tears of the Hab Nation in HD for me?
wait zane give me this magical advice my life kinda sucks
there are a lot of trees on the trip from boston to philly, sad as it sounds that made my day.
srsly tho, boston is like one giant concrete park it sucks
Yeah I was thinking of that when I wrote that <3 Duck
But seriously, this is fucking awesome.
I feel like the fucking king.
Kung Fu did that for me. I know I'd never actually fight anyone but the feeling of safety I got from knowing that I could defend myself gave me a huge boost to my confidence and reduced my anxiety around people.
Also on topic I went to a forest and farm festival at this living historic farm in Gainesville. They took various historic buildings and put them together into what a farm would be like and then they have people work it like they would back in ye olden days. Today they had a large group of craftsman and artisans that were demonstrating everything from blacksmithing to spinning and weaving and basket weaving. It was way cool. Plus I was really impressed with the ingenuity of old shit. You think that people 100 years ago were just banging rocks together and shit but the way they figured out how to do things was pretty damned smart.
Take for instance the construction of the cabin. You know how log cabins are made with notches that hold them together like lincoln logs? Well this was the same premise but there was no excess wood hanging out the end. Because of this if it was done exactly the same the wood would naturally drift out and fall apart over time. The way they combated that was to angle the notches so they were raised inside and lowered outside. This meant the weight of the wood actually caused it to come together tighter. There was a lot of clever little things like this I was wandering around and noticing.
I went shooting today. Felt good man.
A buddy just got me a starcraft 2 beta key.
