I totally read that as "microenvironment of the mammalian rectum". Congrats either way!

The call I've been waiting 7 months for came today.
My old job, which laid me off, is rehiring me.
I start the Monday after Thanksgiving.

Good jazz and good animation. I'd say that qualifies as improving my day.

Eightball, Didzo, AMC, and Vietling showered me with TF2 weapons today. I <3 my new liberty launcher.Â
And then I raped people.Â

Got all moved into the apartment of the daughter of the owner of my work today, house sitting for her two dogs while her and her fiancee are in Aruba for thanksgiving. I would have been house sitting for the owner, but him and his wife just adopted a kid, so they couldn't go on their annual Aruba trip, so he gave it to his daughter instead.
This place has DSL, which makes me sadface.
I remember when broadband was still rolling out and it was "Cable has the best downstream rates but DSL normally has like 3x the upstream"
Now it's "My cable at home is 6x faster downstream and 3x faster upstream"
:-\
At least I'm making $250
-edit-
I should crosspost this in FML, apparently even to servers in New Jersey or New York I pull a 150 ping to.
Oh boy.
-edit2-
.... Or uTorrent was running on my laptop in the livingroom and was saturating every ounce of the upstream. >_<

House sits for people, get's them sued for infringement
When I was really young, maybe 5yo or so, I used to watch and love my dad's copy of a computer 3D animation VHS. It was essentially clips of animation by various people with 80s music. I've been searching for it for a while and today I found a clip of it on youtube! The documentary is called Dream Machine and I looked for it online but it's only available in laserdisc form
Chromosaurus (1985) - Pacific Data Images
LMAO I found a better clip:
Locomotion Studies - MIT - Karl Sims (1987)
