didn't think i'd be stuck in another country, didn't do my absentee thing.
This is the second election since I graduated college, and the second election I've missed because I've been out of the country for work.
Although something makes me think that I won't get random hugs in the London Underground after the results of this one are announced.
I'll give you permission to use a Canadian flag on your person for 1(one) day to protect you from the haters.
I'm dating a Canadian, I don't need to borrow yours. Thanks though.
Had lunch with my Grandma, was nice seeing her. Also bought Fable 3, so it's been a pretty swell day so far.

Morons or card-carrying members of the good ol' boys network you mean?
Sounds like every position in every level of our government here the
grand good mediocre crappy corrupt ol' U.S.A.
Ended up talking about russian roulette all through lunch with some other law school guys coming up with crazy scenarios. We wanted to ask our teacher about it and were arguing over who was going to do it. Finally I raised my hand and got totally shot down (we are getting to several RR cases so you can wait). Then my friend says "thanks for taking the bullet for us."
Comedy gold. Had to hold in the laughter though.

Is that a book?
Because it looks an awful lot like toilet paper to me.

There's some StarCraft books that kick ass too.
Have you read Empyrean Age yet Zane?
Kicks some insanely awesome ass.

i remember reading a couple of the Doom novels, was the first time I read a book with swear words in it. I thought it was the coolest thing ever
I have two of the Gears of War novels, written by Karen Traviss, the author of some great Star Wars novels.
The GoW books are AWESOME, they don't focus on battles, which are really short and not like on the game, otherwise the book would go like this:
MArcus grabs his gun, swearing a lot, then popping out of his coverr trying to shot something until he saw a head, and instead of shooting it, he covered again because he would shoot him. He repeated this like 30 times until he killed the enemy. He was happy.
Luckily, the books focus more on character depth and story progression than on fights. The second book, Jacinto's Remnant, follows what happened after Gears of War 2 and it's all about escaping.
I love this series <3
My new AC adapter came for my laptop today... the tip is a little long so it doesn't fit securely, but it works 100% of the time unlike my other one that worked maybe 10% of the time at the end.
Hopefully this one doesn't fuck up. :-\
