In b4 you wake up in a tub full of ice.
Spoke with the HR Director. My salary requirements fall within an acceptable range, so later this week I'm going to be driving up to 'meet the team' and talk details about the offer and getting out of my non-compete with my current employer. They want to move quickly because they've made commitments to customers based on having someone in the position, so this is going to probably all go down this week. WHEEEEEEEE

[/quote]I concur. On both counts. Although Leia would be much preferable.
I had a nice day of shopping with my mom. Got some Christmas shopping done and found out what my christmas present is... happened to find a cute winter coat that fit perfectly and was half price, so she got it for me. I don't get it until christmas though.
Also found an awesome pair of sneakers to replace my old ones. She was going to buy them for me at about $30. Clerk rings up the total: $15. Now I don't feel so bad about my mommy still buying me stuff.
Xbox Live free weekend is over, so I got the idea to find my 48-hour trial cards.
I found a 1 month card in addition to my 2 48-hour cards. ;D
Onsite interview's tomorrow, the technical interviewer is the one engineer in that dept that I don't know very well (which is probably why it's him lol), then talking for an hour with the HR director, then the manager of the dept (who I know and spoke to at length a few weeks ago). It's going to be an all-afternoon thing, looks like. Rented a car, going to be driving up uber early, then hanging out there checking in on other departments to see if they need anything (and to justify getting paid mileage from my company to drive up there for it
). Half-expecting an exploding offer, trying to decide if I want to take it on the spot or if I should demand at least a day to think about it.
Also trying to stay calm. Reminds me of something I read in a book somewhere, "Expect nothing, but be prepared for anything." If I go in with no preconceptions about what the interview's going to be like, it'll be easier to think on my feet and make sure it goes well.

Wow... several angles to take with this one
- Sex change operation quip
- Pinocchio conversion jest
- Puberty set in gag
- Rocky Horror joke
- Old Spice guy name drop
- Ponfar completion
- Anti-climactic 18th or 21th birthday announcement?
Imma pass on the joke and ask for elaboration
More information so that proper congratulations may be in order?
