Yeah, I love living in New York, man, and people who live in New York, we wear that fact like a badge
right on our sleeve because we know that fact impresses everybody!
"I was in Viet Nam."
"So what? I live in New York!"
"...Really?!"
yeah, man, the early days... Rotten.com, Stile Project, Ogrish... and before that, Mallworld and the fucked up universe of Doug Winger. I've seen things you couldn't imagine, son. Giant fox centaurs with 100 foot cocks off the shoulder of Orion... I've seen Shestallions glittering in the dark by the Tannhauser Gate. All these moments will be lost in time, like spooge flowing down a drain.
Oh wait, this is the FML thread. Um, the motorcycle quit working. I tried to start it this morning and it wouldn't go. Lots of turning over and backfiring. Fuckin' carpooling it till I can get it towed to the shop.

lol that dude wanted to be exploded from the inside by giant horse semen. And drew it on a regular basis. Fun times.

I suppose it is a little gaudy, for a lack of a better word, and it is technically being a dick to post it, because, lets face it, we all click links we don't want to click or are told not to want to click, as I butcher another sentence.Â
Read Caff's post earlier and hoped it wouldn't come too far south of Chicago.
Now it's raining ice here. What the fuck man UIUC deserves better than this

It wasn't the content of the comment that bothered me, but rather who said it and in what context.
Thanks though.

(in relation to "my words tend to lack empathy and are empty"...unless you're talking about someone IRL...)
I think it's part of the fact that we're posting on forums, instead of communicating face-to-face. A lot of emotion gets left out of our words when we type them, cause we don't hear the person saying it the way they want to say it (Ex: Sarcasm on the internet), or we miss out on facial expressions, which are HUGE for communication...

Last week I felt good and such, especially about all the training at work.
Today/this week I feel like shit. I don't think I'm learning fast enough and I'm so fucking TIRED.
today we were supposed to get a shitton of ice, so i made plans on what to do instead of work.

Sick of being so socially awkward and being left feeling like a dumbass afterwards.

Then don't be socially awkward. Sack up, talk to a chick, and laugh at rejection should it happen. The only one who can change you is you.
