Looks like I'm meeting my deductible early this year. Anyways on an unrelated medical issue:

Yea don't read past this if you are a little squeemish.

So just yesterday I got a lot of mucus going on in the back of my throat, getting worse today. I hacked up big gobs of green and brownish flem including some hard parts. I think this means I'm getting a sinus infection again. Should I skip go and go directly to doctor to get another round of antibiotics?

Sounds like you have pneumonia  bro. Go to the doctor.

Especially if you're like, 80.  Pneumonia fucking HATES old people.
Fucking owned, surf!!

So it snowed like a mofo yesterday on post, shut down the post.  I had plans 100 miles away with a girl, so I said damn the snow, full speed ahead and took my mustang out to the open road.  Hooah!  when I got to her place last night:  no snow there.  This morning:  I couldn't make it up the hill outside her driveway.  Lol.  Glad i don't have to be back to post till Monday morning!
I hate to work late last night because a certain aerospace company cannot create applications that actually work.
Their ability to write manuals is even weaker.
I think I've been on recieving end of this too, and thier employment website isn't coded for shit either.

Boeing for sure; one of our best clients.

Totally Lockheed. I don't think we use any software from Boeing.
I wish I didn't get social anxiety when doing things one-on-one with friends or on dates.

I seriously was feeling nauseous and light headed after it was all said and done, and entirely uncomfortable the whole time.  And I wasn't doing anything crazy, just was in lead of a "Hey you are new in town, let me show you around and watch a movie" situation Sad

It's all in my head but I've done jack shit except feel like shit today because of it :-\

Screen on my laptop won't stay on, its either because the backlight is dead/dying or the power inverter is fucked up  :-\

It's either the inverter, the wire, or the switch.

Money is on wire or switch.
What kind of laptop is it exactly?

A I've seen a lot of laptops that hint at shitty QC due to the hinges just giving out and cracking long before the lifetime of the laptop is up. That often interferes with the connection from monitor to the rest of the computer, happened on my emachines and dell  :|

Asus, and its worked exquisitely until the last few months, the moniter has been slowly going, the color degrading over time, but it was only temporary and would go back to "normal" every time.

I emailed Asus about it to see if its still in warranty

What model out of curiosity? Is it the x83v/ the one with the black and gold faceplate?

That does suck though... hopefully it's still under warranty.

F3JP, its 2.5 years old, so at this point the warranty is a bit of a long shot, but hey, last time I tried to warranty something through Asus, they ended up sending me a GTX280 to replace my Geforce 7950, maybe I'll get the same luck and they can send me an i7 quad core laptop
