to be fair, not everyone will learn a lesson. i've only felt like shit once after a night of heavy drinking, and that was from 3L of wine (I fucking hate wine). Fifths of whiskey and handles of rum just leave me drunk the next day, the closest to a "lesson" I've had was waking up on a public kitchen floor in a particularly dirty college dormitory, still wasted. Not really a "FUCK THAT SUCKED" but more along the lines of "I don't remember drinking my entire fifth of whiskey, where did it go?
"OK, it's 9pm the day after I drank and I'm still drunk. I think I have a problem." Not really a miserable experience, just an embarrassing one.

14 miles an hour over the speedlimit after getting off the interstate.
On the bright side, if you were going above 15 mph over, in most states that's considered a felony as "reckless driving", people don't always get charged like this, but if the cop is feeling particularly dickish, he technically can.

I got caught doing 76 in a 25, cuffed and stuffed right there, but other than that, nada.
=x
i was not aware that you could get cuffed right then and there going 15 over.... i can now look at my mom and say with a straight face that she kept me out of prison :o

depends on the state. Back a few years ago it was 25 over in Georgia. I know because my first (and only ticket) was for one going 24 over..cop let me know I came close.
funny thing was that ticket was only $95

Yeah, it's 25 over in Maine as well.
Today we got our heads kicked in, and it was the easiest day for the next three and a half weeks. I can't wait for summer.
Metamod/Sourcemod still have not released a fix as of 5:30am today, hopefully they'll have something up by time I get home from work.
Until then no RTV/RandomCycle or any other plugins :-\
slept through my last exam
well thats great.
stupid phone alarm was def not loud enough.
I did that my first semester in college. Slept halfway through one which made me late for the next one.Â

Did that last quarter.
Missed the fucking final exam.
Jesus, that's pretty bad. It's impossible for me to sleep in or take naps. I ALWAYS wake up beween 8-10am, I don't even bother to set an alarm clock.
This kind of sucks though because sometimes I'm in the "nap" mood but I can't fall asleep no matter how long I lay down and even if I'm up till 3am I'll still wake up at around 8-10 (sure I can try and fall back to sleep but it's not the same).
This is funny because every single college person I know is the exact opposite of me. Naps ALL the time and constantly sleeping in past 1pm and stuffÂ
I don't know how they do it
That's pretty much how I've been for the past 6 months
What I've done to pull myself out of depression:
Stopped playing video games (didn't boot a game for like 7-10 days)
started working out again (also started running again)
started to learn piano (keyboard/synthesizer) again. (it's been sitting for a year now)
i've been playing ultimate frisbee weekly, set-up by our city's park department
just find something you like doing and get bombass good at it then people will be like wow you're fly can i be your friend
also, biking is fun and all but there's nothing like the feeling you get when you get runners high
got my hair cut too if that counts
ever since all this i've been feeling really confident, work is fun again, etc.
music has been pretty much my lifeline as well
My point kind of was that I didn't want to do these things alone anymore. I'm sure there are plenty of things I could do to boost my mood, which I have been doing (lots of little things I did when I was younger but had been ignoring) but they are still solitary things.
Ah, well. I'm sure something will come up.
the point is; the happier you are the more likely you will attract those around you.
seriously, i don't care how pretty a girl looks if she doesn't smile i'm just going to ignore her.
This morning i felt depressed as fuck and I have a cold. Bitches man...
I'm at school 2 hours before my class starts and I don't have my ipod with me
