RIP David L Bassett, April 18th 1951 - August 2nd 2011
This is a picture from the weekend of BRBU's first ACEN, May 29th 2011. It's the last time by dad left the state of Illinois (we went to Milwaukee for my youngest sister's college graduation), and it's one of the last times he left the house to go anywhere but the hospital. The fact that he was sick is why I made it a priority to skip out on fun with BRBU and attend the graduation. This picture is the one of the last times I ever remember him smiling. I miss him. Happy Father's day, Dad.

sorry for bringing up the feels buddy.
I cant seem to find my 1 TB hard drive on my computer.  I don't know how to fix this, and its pissing me off because that had all my games and a bunch of other shit on it.  I swear to god if it died on me I am going to kill someone.  I would like some help amending this issue as soon as possible.  I would contact one of you fools on steam, but steam was on the drive in question.
Controller board may be on the fritz. Buy a replacement drive immediately, reboot and pray it shows up, and copy as much shit off of it as you can. You may have to do surgery using an identical HDD (replacing the controller board), but that's a subject for the computers subforum, not here.

Alternately, it may just not be mounted to a drive letter, look for it in disk management.

Also, this, kids, is another reason relying on STEAM as your sole communications medium with your friends is a bad plan.

I know, thats why I'm using this forum, facebook, and groupme Tongue  but anyway, the disk isn't showing up.
It could also be something as stupid as the power cable got knocked loose.
everything seems to be in place....except for this one wire that was out of place...I really hope that its not fried....but I am going to have to take my desk top in for a check up because its still not showing up D:<

I cant do that til Monday.....
Yeah I'm busy this weekend otherwise I'd be willing to drive down for a beer and take a look at it.

On a slightly related note, what are you doing on the 29th? I have a few friends in Milwaukee we could go barhopping on Saturday night.

Oh me, I'm probably doing nothing.  I'm living at home in New Berlin atm, but its a possibility.

Also, turns out the thing may be kaput.  They're gonna try to do some data recovery, but I'll find out how bad the damage is by at least Sunday. All my steam was on it D.:

It's not like you can't redownload it all again.
Discovered AS I STARTED WORKING TODAY, that the job I hate, but desperately need, I will more likely than not be fired from in about a week because I've expected to do twice as much work in less time as eight people
It's almost Fourth of July.  Fuckers in my neighborhood have remembered they can buy explosives at walmart.  -.-;
Went to test out the LA changes in the VR center...The tool tips say you can buy any cert...so i bought drifter 5. It turns out I actually bought them but dident realize it because the certs wernt deducted till the next day due to some bug they "cant replicate in 5 min". So I'm out about 1000 certs and they wont refund me.

Might as well learn to takr advantage of the new drifter jets in combat.
Still no power due to storms.  May have it back by Wednesday...
Hard drive appears to be fucked, just as the Warframe special artifact event is happening.
