yeah, got a nerf squirt gun for disciplinary purposes months ago... the little bastard stands in the stream, he's not afraid of water, he constantly tries to get in the shower while it's running.

instead of taking the punishment approach maybe you should keep a laser pointer handy to lead him where you want.

I've used the laser pointer to entice them to come when I call.  I can click (like leading a horse) and they will fucking charge around the apartment to find me. 

IRS; "Hey man, about that money I owe you that I said I'd have to you this week, yeah man, I don't know what happened, but I don't have it, give me another couple weeks, let me slide until the end of the month, I definitely probably can get it to you by then."

Pretty behind on homework though it's not really my fault. Work has given me nightmare shifts and I have to balance that out with the pre-production of the movie I'm shooting next month and my other classes. It's been almost a week and I really haven't had any free time.

The girl I used to like and her roommates (all three of which were really good friends of mine for the first 3-4 months of school) are barely talking to me.
Every morning getting ready to walk to class I say my usual "good morning" etc, and she's just like "hey" in an unamused voice. Picture a 19yr old guy with sunglasses leaning on a wall with his arms crossed and one shoe raised and planted on the wall saying it.
Then we see another friend and she's like "Tysen!" with pitch raising and everything.

WTF? She seriously barely talks to me.

My mom and dad have been arguing for a while now, and both are very stubborn, so my mom wouldn't admit it was her fault why they argued the last time. So during the last week my dad's been mad at my mom because of this stupid shit, so i go to my dad to tell him to not be stubborn and talk with my mom so they can go over this little thing before we can go to the beach so we can be all happy together.

Turns out my mom got a bit carried away when my dad told her to admit her issue (because it really was her fault, she escaped to the beach with a friend without telling anybody till 11PM that day while she was at the beach) and she started listing problems she's been having with my dad.

So from the last 3 days they've both argued all evening after my dad comes from work, everytime i see them they're both with wet eyes and my mom (being the middle-age-crisis woman she is) has already proposed my dad that she should go live with my grandmother again and they're not sleeping together anymore.

All while we try to distract my little brother from hearing all this.

I know it would be stupid to blame myself, they've had problems before that they've been holding (nothing big though). But if i would just have shut up at least the beach trip wouldn't have been cancelled and maybe the relaxed enviroment could have softened the tension..

This plus the fact that my grandmother is slowly dying and by doctor's order we aren't allowed to tell her until my dad and aunt have decided which treatment they want (either to improve her lifestlye or to delay the progress).

Yeah.. i've been feeling like shit lately.

Well that was a horrible week...

• I'm getting sick of my job, I need a new challenge.
  
• I had to work with the most incompetent project manager I've ever had the displeasure of working with, I'm still mad as hell at him leaving me alone without any support for the most important project of the quarter.
  
• My trusty rig of ~5 years died, it's probably the motherboard so now I have to divert funds from my tablet fund into that.
  

Bah

My homework has been sneaking up on me, and now I feel totally overwhelmed by it. Worst part is that I don't know how I could have prevented this, with work giving me closing shifts and whatnot.
