Aren't they on evacuation maps? The safety officer in the plant should also know where they all are

Getting maps is supposedly part of the new contract........
It's apparently my job to make them. There's allegedly maps that were given to an employee that doesn't work for us anymore. Nobody knows about them though.
I mean the ones on the walls of the plant, if there are any? During your safety briefing at the plant you should've met the safety person, he's supposed to have copies of those as well.
How can they know that all the extinguishers are inspected if even they dont know where they all are...
Their safety people go out and spot check. But there aren't any actual maps.

that sounds like a fetch quest from a bad mmo
Fuck em.
You're in charge of inspecting fire extinguishers?
These fire extinguishers need to be inspected or else some government entity comes and fines them/shuts them down/something bad?
They're going to fire you anyways?
Turn yourself in.Â
"hello, BumFuck County Fire Marshal? I know for a FACT 148 fire extinguishers at Fuck You, I make Asbestos Insulation Corp haven't been checked in 3 months."Â
that or... you know... fucking hit the bricks, you've got 72 hours to get it done. You've got a list of extinguisher serial numbers and a clip board. Pick up your bolt cutters, sledge hammer and go through that place like a meth head looking for the jewelry box.Â
The NFPA doesn't mandate maps. Its just a given amount based on size and occupancy.

I'm all for the bolt cutters plan.

Actually extinguishers also have to go through hydrostatic testing as well, both in the manufacturing process and after every single discharge (before a refill if the extinguisher can refill). I actually have a friend who's dad operates a facility that does it, they also test paint ball gun tanks, and other compressed content tanks.

If they're discharged you don't have to hydostat them. You just have to replace the valve stem and the o-ring. You do however, have to hydrostat them after 12 years.
i'm picturing dtrain running through an exploding plant trying to save as many fire extinguishers as he can so that the contents under high pressure aren't subject to high temperatures causing them to explode.
not weird yet?
he's wearing a yellow one piece and a cape.
And it popped.
Down to one car for a bit.
What popped?

Head gasket, I'm guessing.
i'm going to guess that it's coolant that's making that much smoke when it sprayed all over a hot engine.
I'm pretty sure that I either cracked a ringland or an oil control ring failed.
It's all oil smoke. I am semi tempted to rent a laser and run a backyard rave.
Wow, are some people ever assholes. So basically, I have a job working for my aunt's company. Earlier in the year, we had some PHP contact forms on our site that weren't working and our tech support was kinda useless. I convinced my supervisor (who is also my cousin) to hire one of my "buddies" who's a decent programmer to fix them. Then me and him got the brilliant idea to rebuild the website, since it was rather mediocre. So eventually, I convince my cousin that I can build a better site and so I get started. I made this sweet opportunity for myself and my buddy. Now shit starts to go south. Buddy starts classes, and has a job. No time to even chill with me anymore. Now here we are, site's almost ready to launch, but I need to implement the PHP forms that buddy did. Problem: they're commented in Russian (wow, lazy fucker just copy-pasted them) and I can't understand jack shit. I'm spending a week trying to get them to work, and today, I give up. I ask my buddy if he's down for more work, we'll pay him $20/hr. Buddy pulls the biggest dick move I've ever seen, basically telling me "fuck you, you're not worth my time and effort" and demanding he get paid immediately instead of having to go through the same payroll process as everyone else (which is WAY outside my control anyways), or that I pull (non-existant!) money out of my pockets. Just lost someone I thought was a good friend over money, feels bad.
