Ergonomically friendly mouse + a control board (like a nostromo, orbweaver, or similar), trust me, you will love playing shooters again.
my wrists hurt if i play games if i have my armrests too high
I broke my foot last night. Made the brilliant move of wearing socks while going downstairs to see if the house was locked up. Our stairs are original from like 1910 and are polished wood at this point.
Sorry to hear about your foot. Walking around in that house with socks on at all just sounds like a deathwish.
Aside: who sleeps with socks on?

Why do we use blankets even when it isn't cold?
To feel safe. But people who sleep with socks on are strange, that shit's way too hot, I sleep with my feet out of the blanket most nights, especially the summertime.
Not so much an FML, but I'm starting to get stressed out about my housing situation. I was hoping to find a new roommate to replace the current one, who wants to move out, and renew the lease with before I have to sign again. While I've had ads posted for a while and have had people come tour the place, so far no luck. I have less than two weeks to get this figured out or I may have to go with plan B which would likely mean moving out as well. Sure not the end of the world, but it's going to be a huge pain in the ass if it goes that way, and probably some extra unwanted expenses as well.

Same, but I like to keep my socks on up until the final moments before sleep because they make my feet feel good.
Also I am a pimp with a limp.
I know who's getting grippy socks along with their Christmas card this year.
Look into TruSox. Its what all the soccer players wear and they're nice and grippy.
I had someone vent at me today. That was fun.
my girlfriend joins red team sometimes
Cracked my Ipod screen. The fucking thing has hit tile, wood, and concrete without incident, and it falls 2 feet onto a plastic lamp base and fucking spiderwebs the glass.
gf was diagnosed bipolar
older bro is going off on-trac for his bipolar
we started setting up for a 5 day shoot for a short film today and right when we had lights + camera + set dec all finalized, the building manager comes by and says the tenant never warned him we would be here shooting. Thankfully they tried to accomodate us and find us another suite to use, but it just wasn't the same set up as the original apartment, so we had to move an entire truck worth of film gear including stands, cards, dollies, 650kw - 2kw lights, etc across the city to my place where it's basically midnight and we're just about to start setting up again.
its gonna be a long week, folks.

What kind of notice are you required to give?
I know I see stuff all the time where I live, usually its just a flier that goes up a week or two in advance

Just to tell the strata commission that we were even there, that we were there for a week, and the kicker, we paid the tenant 1k for the week to go put himself up in a hotel and he fucking comes home the first night with 2 friends while we're in the middle of set up and starts casually doing blow in the corner with them.
You are right, there should have been a flyer, the building sup came up to the room asking what was going on, on principal photography, as he texted the tenant and the tenant told him it was a 1 day photoshoot and would be out of here as of last night, the 23rd, which was not the case as we need the space for 3-4 days to shoot the scenes we require.
We lost a day, but now the apartment looks like it's nearly ready for shooting.
Actors get here in 3-4 hrs, other crew is showing up very soon to finish the set.
Few people passed out on my floor + we all stayed up til 3-4 am and had 3 hr power naps.

Every mistake that costs you time is an incredibly good reminder for future shoots.
