It goes to Union Station, I believe, so you'd be able to take public transit out to the hotel, since 16 miles is probably too far to walk. Nevermind you're trying to get as close as you can
Will they drop you off at the airport? There's a free shuttle from there. Otherwise I'll come get you.
fuck according to this page
https://www.greyhound.com/en/locations/l...x?state=il
there's a stop right on cumberland avenue
but when you go to buy a ticket it just says "Chicago" with no way to choose where it's going? Am I just retarded and don't know how the buses work?

They should have one (or several) drop off points, probably close to another transportation hub, like Union station. If it let you off at Union station you could then take the blue line out to the con (about a block walk to a station)

Although, when most organizations act more capitalistic, they are reminded that YOU are secondary to profits and treat you as such. The invisible hand of the market smacks BOTH ass cheeks.
There is an inherent and unavoidable conflict of interest between maximizing profits and maximizing quality. Rarely can one organization provide both. When it comes to things like education and health care, some people would be happier with maximum quality and "good enough" profits, while others would prefer "good enough" health care/education and maximum profits.

UPDATE: Well... I got a call from my mother today. On top of all the other shit she's been dealing with in the past 2 months, one of her friends who helped her when dad was in the hospital killed herself. Addictions suck, yes they do. Shit.

Things have been pretty quiet here after the whole "my mom got into menopause so she's behaving like a dick" so i thought all her thoughts about separating had gone to nothing.
So i was going to Uni with my Dad (he works 5 mins from there, so he always drives me) when my mom calls him and he gets really sad.. so i ask him why and he answers "Your mom's got the apointment with the lawyer ready for May 8th"
Then I noticed how they were faking everything being alright so we woulnd't disturb their decisions (since me and my 3 brothers want my mom out of the house, but my dad wants to leave it to her because he still loves her)..
And my day went to shit again..
And now, to evade the questions my mom left with some friends to the beach for the weekend, so we're into the whole "mom behaving like a dick" state again....
orgochem final just happened. welp;
Browsing reddit and happened upon this pic on /r/wtf. Pretty gruesome stuff, but a pretty good example of why you NEVER HORSE AROUND ON A MOVING VEHICLE (in this case, a boat).
Pic is NSFW/NSFL

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be able to just walk up and snap a picture of that part of a person's anatomy.
On the other hand, it reminds me of a picture I once saw on Ogrish (man, that site...) wherein a person's hand was coming out of the wrong end of a
hand crank meat grinder.
The arm was still attached to the hand.

How about that video of some poor reporter in the middle east having his arms chained to a pair of Jeeps for tug-of-war?
Duck and Kirby, incredibly disturbing picture/video consumer bros since '97?
I dunno, I gave up on Fuck internet a long time ago after spending too much time on Ogrish. I'm not sure there's much you could put in a picture or video that would shock or disturb me anymore.

must be his low self esteem
