Comment on the Hobbit trailer on YouTube.
No frodo on this one? Mmmm. The trailer was good, but i still haven't achieved that level of pure adrenaline and excitement by watching it, like i did with The Lord Of the rings. Maybe they'l release other trailers. But so far everything looks great!
Kind of weirded me out that some of the score sounded Synchronized. Then again, it's fairly early in the production, so I shouldn't be surprised that the score isn't completely composed yet.

Not sure what you mean by synchronized. But yeah, the score usually isn't recorded until you have picture lock and I don't think they finish filming for another few months. Then again people are always doing retarded shit in post. I've been in a session where the client wanted some music elements added during the printmaster. Luckily the Dolby tech was cool enough to take lunch so we could work it in without getting charged a bunch for having the him sit there for an extra hour.

Wait a minute...did I type SYNCHRONIZED? God I feel retarded. I meant synthesized.

It was all probably done by some asian kid in his apartment with a ROMpler.
Gotta love failing that BC Calc II final after weeks of studying and then 4 days of mega study.
Yea, do all review problems, almost every book problem, review all the tests and even then get the shaft.

bc calc is easy -- our curriculum doesnt have I and II because we learn it all in one year
get ur muscle up

There is such a thing as over studying or over saturation. Try to remember everything and you'll forget the important bits.

Its not like we were doing the subject matter of all BC I and BC II, It was actually just a narrow subsection of things, methods and applications (like solids of revolution and arc lengths) of integration and a couple application of differentiation. Everything I studied came up, most of the studying was just practicing those methods.
@geoff: I don't really know enough about yer curric to make a statement in return so yea. Although I do have to say that the I and II is each a semester, so there is that. And our BC track goes a bit above and beyond and has a BCIII that does more with the big ideas and starts to delve into MVC.

Math is one of those areas of study that the best way to learn is to actually understand all the principles involved. I think it's taught poorly in schools in that they make you do the same shit over and over like it's a subject you need to memorize. I found that when I was able to do really well in Calc it was when I could take the basic principles and figure out how they built into the more complicated ones. Also I'm not sure if this helps but I have a friend who took a lot of higher level math classes and he said the teacher that made him understand it the best would take the problems and divide them into the calculus steps and the algebra steps. He showed them that most of the mistakes were made during the algebra steps. Once he understood that he was able to tighten up his algebra and then do the calculus easy.

That is actually my exact issue. I'm good at calc in general and stuff. But the algebra is what screws me over. I need to crash course in it >.<
In other news, it seems like my PSU has also gone bad, good news, tiger direct is near here with some good sales so I might be able to pick up a good 750-1000W on the cheap in time for the gift thing.
Everyone's full of Fuck You Holiday Spirit. And now so am I.
Because there is nothing -- NOTHING -- that I like more than getting bitched at on the phone, all day at work, only to change headsets, to get bitched at on Planetside.
I need my fucking money back, it's not worth it.

Cry some more Koala, nobody was yelling or raging at you in PS.
"god k0ala move"
"k0ala y u no move"
"uhh what the hell are you doing"
"you're really bad at this"
"watch around watch around"
"focus in front of us"
"NO GOD THEY'RE BEHIND US AT SIX O CLOCK WATCH MORE GOD YOU NEED TO BE BETTER"
So essentially like every other night of planetside where everybody's yelling
They only yell because they care.

Oh no! someone told you what direction to point your gun? I didn't realize that you were such a precious snowflake. My humble apologies. Â b)
That's what your average night of Planetside is like. Caff is yelling at HeK for not driving the boat slow enough while HeK is yelling at me for dropping early while I'm yelling at Karth for flipping over a hovering vehicle.
Sorry if our yelling shit in your cheerios after a general shitty day broseph.

Algebra is the only math thing I'm actually good at. I'd gladly tutor you if you lived near me lol.
I'm actually thinking about tutoring kids in algebra at the local high schools but I might not have any time.
In other news, I'm having a major FML today. After checking my exam grades online.
I think I failed biochem. I got a C in physics. And, I think I am going to get a C in anatomy despite getting a perfect score and a 92% on the last exams since the class does not have a curve (the first exams screwed all of us over).
I completely overwhelmed my schedule this semester. I regret it.
Merry Christmas to me.
