Says he's having a lot of trouble breathing and whatnot, and can I drive him to the ER


Run back into my room to grab my wallet/keys/phone so fast I knock my bong over onto my G510 on my way by. 



FML thread because it turns out to be a dislocated rib.


I wonder when I'll be able to afford a replacement :-\

+1 for an additional reason why I don't do any drugs legal or not, other then my prescription estrogen pill and testosterone blocker pill.

Unplug the fucker, open it up, let it dry out for a couple days, and try again.  (you know this, why are you bitching about it if you know it might still work)  If my droid eris could survive a trip through the washer in Afghanistan, your keyboard can probably handle some pot water.

It went PffffZZZT and made my computer lock up, and does nothing when plugged in now.

I was more concerned with getting out the door then my keyboard at the time.



But it's ok because my dad covered it because he's cool like that.

+1 big-name game that I'll never be able to play because it uses GFWL which decides to never work on this computer

EDIT: GFWL that is, it just times out?

EDIT2: If that's the case, try this:

Open a DOS prompt (winkey+R and type in cmd).
Type in "netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces"
Look up the network adapter that you're using and verify that your MTU is 1500, if you can't login to GFWL there is a chance that it's set lower than that. (In my case it was Cisco VPN client which set it lower.)
If it is lower, reset it back to 1500 by typing "netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Local Area Connection" mtu=1500 store=persistent"

Well, after several attempts at reinstalls, I discovered that the problem lay with a faulty "live! sign-in client", which the GFWL client doesn't bother to reinstall itself. As a result, every time a game using GWFL launched, it would crash about 5 seconds in, presumably when the GFWL client initialized. Uninstalled all of my live essentials and reinstalled, finally got it to work. Thanks for the help though
