if you aren't already countermedicate with caffeine and such, just make sure caffeine is safe with what you're on. probably won't do too too much but it might take the edge off of it.

Caffeine has never had much if an effect on me, and sadly it is doing nothing for me now. I also do not really want to be knocking back caffeine all day just to stay awake.

Got back from jury duty today. Case was about a child molester. We found him guilty, but I still feel like shit.
Out of curiosity, was this molester the creepy dude with the windowless van or was it a 20 year old who had sex with his 17 year old girlfriend?

Creepy 38 year old family friend who shared apartment with 14 year old girl and her family.
Edit:
I looked into the sentencing guidelines for the guilty charges:
- Count 1: Felony, no min, 25Y max
- Count 2: Felony, no min, 10Y max
He's gonna miss the cut on "violent offender," just barely
Sentencing Judge has the leeway to go higher because a minor was involved
He will have to register for 15 or 25 years
He's gonna be out of her life and a get a substantial penalty, I can accept that.
Terrible night tonight. :'( Our kitty Yoko passed away tonight.
She was an outdoor kitty and was 14 years old and was really hard of hearing and she got hit by my mom when she was backing her car up.
She passed a few minutes later in my mom's arms.
I can't stop crying when I think of her. :'(

Was at friends house watching Bears game. Bears lose and we go home. As were leaving the neighbor is outside with his fuck trophy. Neighbor tells me that said fuck trophy has been throwing rocks at my car. I get home and look at the paint and sure enough, the are 3 nice chips in the paint. I am ready to murder this infant.
Misunderstood at first. Thought "fuck trophy" meant "attractive ditz wife." Made the sentence funnier.

At least she grew old.
So, the draw down of US Forces in Afghanistan means that instead of going on R&R in a couple weeks, I'll be redeploying (going home) in a couple weeks. Which has a distinctly different feel; instead of partying my ass off for 2 weeks then going back to work, when I get home- I'm just plain out of a job. It's just damn embarrassing, "ooooh I spent 7 whole months in Afghanistan." I can barely even claim I was here, this is almost worse than having no deployment at all. It's shameful.Â

Try this out for late night studying: Find an empty lecture hall (if the main doors are locked, try an alternate route) with a sound system and hook up a music source to it, blast music, and use all the boards for your o-chem or bio or whatever. Worst that can happen is the janitors kick you out.

This is only building I have 24 hr access to. I'm surrounded by dead animals and a blackboard, which is GREAT, but there is a lack of a sound system (I guess I can use my laptop as a replacement). Now that the other girl and possibly the janitor are both gone, I can go crazy in here. Yay!
I'm doing physics because I'm terribad at it.Â
Open up my lappy to find a crack and huge black hole on the screen. It's my only computer.

Buildings that don't have official 24h access often have unlocked doors and elevators around...
...But that place sounds nice nonetheless.
And using laptop speakers << using big-ass sound system as speakers for your laptop
