last time when it was leaking over my desk I did. After a while he came down and said it would soon. It eventually did but a few days later it started to drip again. I said fuck it, I'll live with it because the amount of water coming through wouldn't fill the trash can before it stopped. A coffee mug on the window sill on the other hand...

Go directly to the residential life office (or whoever is in charge of where you live) and complain in person.

Literally almost died going into work today. I was going down interstate when a truck in the opposite lane went outta control, launched through the median, and passed by me by like 15-20 feet tops while I was doing 80. Jesus.
A few weeks ago a [blond] woman ran a stop sign going at least 40, probably 50+. I saw her in the distance and thought either she wouldn't make it to the stop sign before I left or that she was already slowing, so I look the other way and start to go when my dad tells me to stop and she leaves two tire tracks across the intersection.
I know the feeling and I'm glad you're OK.
I am also glad you are ok. Shit like that is scary.
I have this rather large piece of solid aluminium on my workbench at work, it's my "Heat Sucker 9000" - I often work with things made of solid aluminum or nickel, and they require things to be soldered into them, which in turn requires more heat than a handheld soldering iron can generate.
So we use a hotplate for heating these these items, normally running about 350c, so they're hot. Obviously these parts are then not handle-able for a time, so this is where the Heat Sucker 9000 comes in. The top is very polished, and it does an incredibly good job at, well, sucking the heat out of these items at a rapid pace so I can do my job more efficiently.
After a while, the heat sucker 9000 obviously gets hot itself, and requires cooling. I normally turn it upside down to expose the fact it's not a solid-solid block, but is in fact very hollow on the "bottom" then grab it with a pair of pliers and run it under cold water in the sink for like 30 seconds, then it's cold as ice to the touch, ready for more.
Enter today, when I'm working with a filter that's in a silver plated nickel cavity, with a bottom that's half an inch thick, all solid nickel. After running just 6 of them over my hotplate, my heat sucker 9000 is getting hot enough to where I can feel the heat radiation from like 10 inches away. So I grab it with the pliers and head over to the sink.
Wouldn't you know it, it's above the boiling point of water. So I'm stuck standing there holding a hollow block of aluminium that's holding boiling water just underneath my hand.
Man, my hand is pink. Pink and rather
cooked.
-edit-
lol irony talking about getting cooked on pg 420 of FML thread.
There is talk my department may be going on strike soon. Like in a week or two soon. No pay for me if that happens. And I will not picket as I do not really want to get yelled at by angry people.
Balls.

No, all the work that I can do needs to be done at the call center and involves confidential customer information usually.

I highly doubt it. We aren't necessarily an essential service and the amount of training required to teach someone to use all our systems would be ridiculous.
Blargh. My boss is an ass, and has no idea how the fuck a restaurant should be done. Always has an excuse when shit doesn't get done, "Oh, we were busy so we didn't have time to do anything" or "Oh, we were slow so I sent everyone home to save on labor then sat in the office with my thumb up my ass so nothing got done." He also expects me to get more work done with shitty employees who never got trained properly because they were never put on shifts where I was able to actually tell them what to do. He also always assumes that I'm in the wrong if there's ever a customer complaint. Last winter I almost got written up because some dumb cunt couldn't open a door. Tonight we had a call-in order, wife called it in, and I read her order back to her after taking it to make sure I got it right. When the husband comes in to get the order it wasn't ready because the dumb wife hung up on me while I was trying to ask here when they wanted to pick it up. Anyway, the guy working the register read it back to him twice to make sure we got it right. Dude leaves, no complaints, then like 10 minutes later the husband calls back bitching at my GM because "We forgot to give them their queso." That they didn't ask for, or pay for, or mention at all that they wanted. After talking to the guy, my boss comes to me and says "You didn't give the pick up order their queso, Matt, we gotta make sure that we get those things right." Didn't even bother to ask me if I forgot the queso, and didn't even believe me until I showed him the fucking list of food that the people ordered. On top of that I had to cook a shitton of chips for some catering tomorrow and train a guy how to close and clean everything on the food prep line because nobody closing on Friday knows how.
