My father was working in Korea once. He ate some funky seafood before his flight home. He spent the entire thing going between his seat and the bathroom, and barely slept at all.
So I really hope you don't get the shits

Yeah, speaking of that: this might sound stupid, but consider investing in a flu mask. I have a pretty good (read: overactive) immune system, but I often get sick following such long flights. 12+ hours of breathing recirculated air shared with hundreds of passengers from all over with varied microbial milieu, no thanks. I'll be fine with wearing the mask.

The next time my idiot neighbor decides it's a good fucking idea to sit in his car and rev his engine for 20 minutes while I'm trying to sleep, I'm going to do something drastic. Like spray painting over his taillights. Or license plate. Or both.
No one should be doing that at 2:30 AM.

How about asking him to stop?

Rational thinking does not kick in until 6AM.

Hm, good to know that Bud owns a bunch of smaller labels. No more shock top, I'll have to look into what exactly it is they own for the next time I buy.

They own Goose Island. GG
I'm relieved that at least this can't happen to weed. I don't even really like alcohol in comparison, I dunno what I'd do.

Just wait for legalization and the tobacco companies' attempts to monopolize the market.

I'm under the impression that if it's legalized, you'll be allowed to grow. In any other event, fuck em, grow it anyway.
yeah we're about to see a whole lot of new ordinances against home gardening. watch the opinion blogs for people sneering at those low enough to grow their own food in America. Duh, just go to the supermarket! ./sarcasm

FACT: I actually asked the cool owner of the best local purveyor of beer to mark which of his offerings were now controlled by AB-InBev. He muttered some bullshit about how they have not fucked up Goose Island. YET.
I'm convinced that the CEO of AB-InBev would not fit my definition of a
beer lover. Sure, he might drink beer the way a generic fratboy drinks beer, but he's not a beer lover.
@Crow, that's fucked. I've been on a Bushmills kick lately, so I didn't notice they fucked with Maker's. People tell me I have some good Maker's memories, and I have to trust them on that.
It is fucked up.Â
But, when I went looking for handles of Maker's in December and discovered there were none to be had in Kentucky, not because of being bought before christmas, but because every fucking one went to Japan that month, it was also fucked up. I need to go buy a handle now before they start stocking the lower stuff. (yeah, 6 proof drop, big difference, right?) It's not even my favorite, but it's a staple- cheap and effective.Â
Also, queue ANOTHER increase in the cost of arms and ammunition.Â

I know that feel
this should make you feel better
Costa running M60
Aaaaand the landlord's washer emptied its water through my ceiling
this happens to me every time a new dumbass moves in upstairs.
That M60 is gucci'd to hell and back. Â I'd still probably use a well equipped Mk48. Â A couple years ago people started getting smart, and welding ammo cans together, bolting that to an Alice pack frame, and stealing feed assembly parts of their neighboring unit's CROWS trucks, and created a 500 round ammo pack with feed chute for the Mk48. Â Now, that's pretty awesome to see.
And here's an article about their simple idea and the awesome pack it has inspired

It's Chris Costa, the man with the goofiest looking rifle grip in the world. A Gucci'd M60 is definitely his style

The person upstairs is the landlord...who has lived there for years, luckily I was able to get a bucket under it and then they gave me a fuckton of towels and a mop.
Overnight I set up a little space heater and a fan. Thankfully everything is tile/wood flooring so nothing could really soak in. A few small area rugs got wet, just threw those in the dryer.
Could have been a lot worse
