My cinematography teacher is so dry in his lectures, it's extremely difficult to pay attention when he goes off on 40-minute tangents every discussion.

Starts with drinks, ends in bed talking about grades. I had a few female friends in college who ended up dating either their male TAs or Profs. Female instructors are much more difficult to convince.
First world problems.
I have this ONE. STUCK. PIXEL. on my monitor. It's been like that for almost a year now. It happened JUST past the RMA period which I know Newegg would have honored, and monitor pixel policies are stupid and Samsung wouldn't replace it for just one pixel.Â
I don't notice it 99% of the time, but that 1% (like now) really annoys the hell out of me.

flicking them with my finger has fixed stuck pixels for me in the past. There's also a website somewhere that'll cycle colors really fast to try to unstick them too, I think.

I had a dead pixel like that in the middle of my screen that was really annoying and none of the recommended fixes worked. Then after two years it randomly disappeared.
I know newegg used to require at least 7 dead pixels to return a monitor. Because I had 6 once.Â
I rubbed 5 of them out.Â

Now then, let's take this phrase out of its original context and appreciate it as it stands on its own.
I got to spend six hours today as the only consultant on duty at my university helpdesk, thanks to two others calling out of work. Combine that with multiple hour-long calls and getting a crash course in software I've never used and you get a shitty time.

I've tried all sorts of fixes and nothing worked either. I'm sure it's stuck, though, so it should be solvable somehow.
That's what I really like about the Memory Express in store warranty, for $10 you get a years worth of zero dead pixels. They let me dig through their inventory until I found a display to my liking.

well might of blown a chance for a job interview. been so long since I had one & a bit of a phone phobia from growing up. Sister was helping me with some details during the call & the lady scolded me.. Tho I think she asked what year I graduated which my sister said they should not of done that.
Yeah, being coached through an interview is typically bad juju. Re: graduation date, that one's borderline. It's something typically found on a resume, but you can back into an age from it, and making decisions based on age isn't allowed.
I may have to miss my 10-year high school reunion (which I've already bought plane tickets for) because I may have to go to Mississippi for work that weekend. I'm trying to get out of it, though.

this is false actually, it is illegal to discriminate against someone for being too old for a job but is perfectly legal to reject someone for being too young, you can even state that as the reason. it is a one way street as it stands so says my droning HR professor.
She did seem a bit out to get me with asking about how I'd get there, I told her I'd be able to get a ride from family or ride my bike or even bus. In which she said "well at the time the job starts the buses would not be running at that time, so how would you get there then? " o-o also I applied saying I'd be open for either day or night shift so it wouldn't matter for the night shift.
Sorry for not posting here or joinin in on games for a while guys. Long story short I tried to move out and it went less then bad. Meaning terribad. So I had to move back.

Right hand which sucks, may not be able to do UGC this season. There is not even a good story behind my hand so don't worry. Point is I broke it a year or two ago and it did not heal right.
