My interpersonal relationships are being damaged by my unreasonable expectations of human decency and virtues which even I cannot live up to. I constantly see the worst in people only to realize that I'm becoming a miserable and judgmental misanthrope who's no better than they are and should probably fuck off and live as a hermit somewhere.

EDIT: This isn't some particular relationship that's being damaged, just an impression I get following introspection, and introspection always follows in the wake of a shitty day. The past few days have, needless to say, been shitty.

Had some bad wings last night. Started puking at 4.30am. Couldn't keep water down until 12. Having chicken broth at 7.45. All while overdosing on acetaminophen on to actually sleep, to avoid feeling the horror of every hair on my body aching simultaneously.

Is this what it feels to be mortal?
