no one wants to hire someone without "experience", i'm stuck in this shitty ass little town with no jobs around, there's no people here so i'm lonely and depressed. i'm fucking lost.

I'm in a similar situation. I have a job, but I want a better one that is more in line with my skillset. I have experience in my chosen field. However, because I don't have a degree I can't get a lot of the jobs around here.

honestly i could really give a shit what i end up doing as long as it's mentally stimulating and not a repetitive factory job. having a job in an area of the country that doesn't have population 5 people would be awesome too.
Spending Independence Day alone because i had to make some hw for uni.
GF is out of the city, none of my friends wanted to come where i live (because it's really far from the city) and my family is on another state on camping.
I feel terrible :<
I'm pretty sure I broke my ankle like 30 mins ago. also shitty day over all.
I need to move from my room on floor 2 to a room on floor 8 for the regular school year (currently an intro quarter for freshman).
Two days ago a friend on floor 8 says that the people who had my room for Early Fall Start had moved out.
Yesterday I go to try and move and the front desk says "sorry, you can't move into a new room until Sunday."
Wake up at 7:55 and walk 5 minutes to the front desk (its in an adjacent building connected by a cafeteria). "Sorry, your room is not quite ready yet."
I'm now too awake to go back to bed, plus I have a deadline to move out of my current room, so I'm really hoping the bitches in my new room don't wait until the deadline to move.

Is it actually broken so that you can't move it or did you roll it so it's all swollen? I did the latter last year and walking it off was a mistake; every time I strained or got a minor roll it hurt like shit and swelled up again. Go to a doctor.
My new room was finally unoccupied and cleaned...
... at 2:40. I waited six to seven hours. At least I was able to web browse and walk around during this.
Then I finally move in and deal with some paperwork BS. Luckily I didn't have to pay any late move-out fine because it wasn't my fault.
Now I can't get a ride to any of my family's homes to do laundry with a real machine because I have no cell service for the first time since I got here. WTF Verizon.

I can put stand fine, but moving it or putting any pressure on the side hurts. Probably just a bruised bone, maybe a small fracture. Too poor to see a doctor will probably just annoy my nurse cousin for some advice on how to let it heal w/o problems.

It sounds like you should definitely get an immobilizer like one of the black boots though.
Following my "Spendind Independence Day alone" status, today i'm felling really bad.
You see, today is Independence day, but i've been alone since Friday, and legally, they give us 18 and 19 as free days, so most people take the whole week as independence festivities.. so w/e, thing is i spent the day alone.
So this friend, which i thought was fond of me, posts on twitter tagging me and other people that we should do something tomorrow, since it's the last day of festivities (Army Glories day i think would be a proper translation). So i answer them that they should all come here, since my yard is really big, we could have a big BBQ and play some games.. I was really excited because since i live on the countryside i rarely get any visits.I even offered them to pick them up at the closest subway station (a 40-min drive).
3 hours later and still no answer.. but they've kept tweeting about some other stuff, and they even mentioned getting together vaguely..
At least they should have said they were lazy to come.
And i was so excited to get visits... Friends come to visit me like.. once a year, on my birthday.

Wife put my Droid through the washing machine so I'm stuck using my old BlackBerry.

It can suck living in the boonies, but at least you have internet and nice scenery right?

Awesome scenery, a safe place where you can walk at 3AM without anything happening and no cars sounds, yes
Internet? No. I'm stuck with a 600kb/s connection because it's everything the nearest plant can handle. Most of my friends already have 4MB+ :<

These are things that kick ass, albeit I don't live quite so far out, but my town's population is a measly ~2000 people.
Grow up on the farm where you have dial up at half the reported speeds because your phone line is decrepit and the company won't fix it. It blows being the only customer for ages in any direction.
It blows being the only young person for miles. However it was fixable with all the open spaces and adventure(time)s.
