My parked car got hit yesterday and the driver drove off without leaving insurance info.
It's not serious, just damage to the front bumper and a chunk out of the headlight casing by the looks of it, but it's still one more thing on top of this shitty snow mound of a winter.

That happened to me last year, I had to get my hood replaced :|
Luin's car finally went into autobody after my head-on.
Three week wait for parts and shop space, and now three-four week wait for repairs and paint.
Hope it's worth it for a 13 year old with 270k miles.
It's not like I am paying for the repairs.

was there frame damage?
holy fuck the capital one fraud team has got to be the most incompetent group of people i've ever had to deal with
I told two different people that I was reporting a charge as fraudulent and both times they verified the charge. I literally had to tell the second girl twice that it was fraud before she got it.

Imprezas are unibody, they don't have a frame. They do have sub-frames but they unbolt.
There was no major body damage, the front left apron has to be cut and a replacement welded on.

As one who works with people like this in a similar profession, I will help you dispose of the evidence.
Allergy season is officially here. Kill me now.
Dad just told me that my 13 year old cat is sick and needs to be put down. First time I've cried since my mom died.
17 days until Detour
Break my $400 sewing machine, likely the timing is off as the needle now scrapes the bottom of the bobbin holder instead of dipping into a recessed area. And the piece that holds the needle in is several kinds of fucked up.
Already put in for a replacement so worst case I should be ok for the con...sucks to have to drop that kind of money for a machine right now, but on the other hand its more than earned its keep.
Stop buying plastic sewing machines. Go find one from the 70's, it won't break. Ever.
It's true. The old cast/metal ones are work horses that'll never quit. Maybe they don't do quite as many fancy things, but the things they can do they'll do forever.
Both my grandparents still have old foot pedal singers... the things still work...
Sorry to hear that @Zane. At least it lived a full (and presumably comfortable) life under your family's care.
It just kinda sucks that it happened now. I'm going home for spring break this friday and the vet wanted to do it on friday. So now I have to make the decision to prolong it and be able to see him or not.
