Kor, glad to hear that you are OK and not seriously injured.
Sadly the growing lack of responsibility in our modern society is shameful.
In Winnipeg, The increase of cycle traffic has resulted in the highest number of cycle-vehicle collisions to date.
May need to look into purchasing a helmet cam.

It finally happened. 28 years of cycling, and I finally got hit by a car. Nothing super cereal, minor bruising n' a roughed up foot, but the lack of justice in these scenarios is infuriating. Side street(no lights, just a sign for her) going onto the largest(5 lanes), longest(15kms), and one way street in the city, and she doesn't make sure the intersection is clear before revving through. She fails to remain at the scene, has to be chased down by another decent human being, and then has the audacity to claim she saw/heard nothing. Plausible deniability despite witnesses has ruined modern justice. What a cunt.
No cameras anywhere near the intersection?

Wow that sounds like a shitty day. It's good you're ok. I walk a lot in the area I live in and if somebody were to hit me (assuming I could still move) I'd probably have to put my foot up someone's ass.

What?! All the cool countries have public surveillance. Don't you wanna be cool, Canada?
I had 2 eye-witnessess that submitted reports to the police, one of them left his card to be contacted later. It'll all come out in the wash, but at that moment I was just steamed about her not sticking around. If she stopped, I would have given her a pass after I calmed down.
2 days after the fact, I'm letting it go, despite everyone telling me to lawyer up. Although I maintain an impassioned stance on staying on points, I'm really not at all a vindictive person. I don't want to be bitter about something like this, I just feel like the correct course is to get back on the bike and ride the high road.
super sucky, Kor. glad to hear you are hale.
society does suck when it prioritizes people's fear of premiums over care for a fellow human. how the fuck can we change that?
Just found out my GPA is 0.07 points too low to get a CS minor.
Glad you got out okay Kor.

Yeah I went in today. I should be okay, but I need to retake the intro to computer science course.Â
At least it should be an easy A.

that's pretty lame that they wouldn't just make an exception for that little bit of gpa. That's literally a percentage point from one class.
Both cars are broken now, bicycle time until I can get the parts needed to fix one.
what happened to Subaru reliability?
250 thousand miles of sitting next to a 1800 degree turbo eventually converted the plastic air inlet into squishy goo.
Still getting EPA rated highway MPG while it was dripping onto the engine block.

So what you're saying is that your car wants to breathe and bypassed the pesky air filter and intake for FREE BREATHING RAW POWER.
wait, does crow actually do the repairs on his *ahem* modern ford mustang, or is he just trolling?
Rummy, you're a smart lad; you tell me.Â
Long weekend fucked up parts delivery, another day stuck on a bike and the forecast for tomorrow is non-stop rain.

Why does my food still run after I bought it at 100,000 miles in 2003 and now it has 210,000 miles? Oh yeah... It's really a Mazda...
