The computer I just bought may need a new hard drive. :'(
Hopefully the place I got it at is willing to replace it if that's the case.
But let's hope it's not.
Gona go get fucked in the ass by a stats test.
I'm not sure I can survive 48 hours without sleep and take an exam.

Well, you can survive, but it's not fun. I would not suggest you take a test at the end.Â

Update from the last 48 hours:
Sunday night I find out my grandfather passed. He's no longer in pain and he's not suffering anymore I can find a little comfort. Thanksgiving is all fucked up but at least I get to see some extended family and my kitty from back home. So, really big dose of "well... shit" right there
Monday morning this lands in my inbox...
Quote:Hi,
I'm sorry I've been so haphazard about responding to things. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to date or have much of a social life in the next few months. I didn't realize how hectic things were going to get, and with traveling out of town, finals, and REDACTED starting it's only going to get worse; it'd be unfair to try to start anything when I'm only going to get less available in the next few months. I'm really sorry if I led you on at all. You seem to be a really great guy and if timing were different I'd definitely be interested.
All the best,
REDACTED
Which sounds oddly similar to another e-mail I received from a different girl in July...
Quote:I am doing well. Busy as per usual; these 60 hours are killing me.
Sadly, I am not going to be able to get together this upcoming week. I feel bad for leaving you hanging. I think you are a great guy but I am not sure we are going to be able to work out due to timing and physical distance. That said, I did really enjoy our date.
Best of luck.
Cheers,
REDACTED
Is there some sort of coded message in these things that I'm not seeing.

There is no table big enough right now
Not to worry, cheer up contingency plans have been activated and will be going into effect soon.
Well, Pie, you're going on dates.
That's more than I can say.
My condolences for your grandfather.
Now it can be my turn. It's not really an fml, but my great grandmother was put into hospice a few days ago. 91 years old. There'll be a funeral within a week's time. Not something I'm beat up about, it's just one of those things.
Sorry to hear that, Pie and Zaius. The only meager condolence I can offer is to suggest that you eat bacon and be well. Be well, brethren.
I'm sorry, Pie.
As for dating, it's like shopping. You don't buy everything you try on.

God I hate these. They're all identical too. Sorry, feel your pain =(

I think it's like a love sim game, but with better graphics. Only problem is, if you don't like your partner, it's a lot harder to reload.
Going to bed a little earlier than usual and then not being able to fall asleep and feeling shitty for almost 4 hours instead.

look into melatonin- off the shelf sleepy pills. I had one recently and it's pretty nice. I don't want to become dependent but if I need to wake up early it's really nice.

Melatonin is an interesting way to hack your brain and can be useful in many situations. The trick is to remember to take the same dose at the same time every day.
Melatonin is amazing. I used to use valerian root but over time I lost effectiveness. With melatonin I have not had that problem.
However it occasionally gives me nightmares, or close to. But that is rare and I dream a lot anyway, it's a negligible issue I'd say.
Also this shit is cheap.

Because if you can't determine when someone is speaking in hyperbole then you shouldn't be on the internets anyway.
