Don't think of it as a penalty. It's a service for independently verifying your high score. Each ticket is an award for achieving above and beyond, and, like DLC, you have to pay for the privilege.

(also, that's a good photo)
It was just me and the other two drivers, no injuries reported. No citations either, which is strange, but that'll probably catch up to me I'm sure. I'm surprised the photo turned out, my hands were shaking pretty badly for hours afterwards.
^this. Also, if you don't like expensive speeding tickets, move out of Wisconsin. They're fucking ridiculous there.

That's only if you have out of state plates, they don't care as much if you are a native.
Or I could just stop speeding in town. Although if I had noticed he had pulled out I could have made myself disappear pretty easily.

I got a go fast tax today.

Well, maybe it will teach me some self control.
Just wait until self driving cars are the only option on the road... it will cripple most police forces.

Then what will they do with the shit cops who can't catch actual badguys? They'll find a way to give self-driving cars tickets. It's the only way they have left to validate themselves.

GODDAMMIT
What web host is this? Ultimately IIS 7.5 isn't the end of the world, it's not the greatest web server either, and the php implementation (as that looks like the PHPInfo page), is ... lackluster at best. But it does get the job done... that's about all it does though...
My aunt's company server, and it's been running Windows since god knows when (essential though, since company email is handle by Exchange)... time someone comes along and throws Apache on there... Basically, I've been doing all my tests on my local environment, and was perplexed as to why the fuck my .htaccess wasn't working properly... I'm so close to finishing this... cleaning up the URL was the last thing on my list since I couldn't get it to work at first... at least now I know why.
I've got lovely bruises on both my thighs now, too. Always wear a seatbelt, kids....

You should never house your primary web server on the same server as your primary mail server. Now, Exchange REQUIRES IIS for web mail access, but outside of that, no other web sites should be run off of it. It's a security thing. Your web server should be on a different machine (or if you want same machine can be okay, but virtualize).

I think there's actually two physical boxes, so my ideal situation is to just take the web server off IIS and throw it on the other box with a sparkling new Apache config, and keeping IIS functional for things like Exchange. Of course, I'm not actually allowed to do this myself (nor am I about to lie and say I've done it before lol), so I'm gonna have to run it through tech support. :-\
This is how I've felt all day today:
Just put down my 17 old cat due to health reasons today v-v Got home, calmed down a bit to take care of a few things & forgetting where I placed it, moved his collar & herd his bell and for a moment I forgot he was gone.
sad day.
I just had a towing company lose my car key. It's a transponder key that's going to cost a couple hundred bucks to replace, bleh.

they're not liable for that?

They are, and they tried to squirm out of it but they're cutting me a check. And it's still one more PITA to deal with.
I also think its hilarious that nearly everyone I talk to tells me the car is a total loss, then has to stare at the paperwork a lot longer before they realize what's up. My car's three model years old but its resale value is still >$24k, so they're repairing $11k worth of damage and its not even getting a salvage title :V
And gas went up for summer.
That's 12 gallons BTW.

Just days after Tesla announces that their sharing supercharger tech to spur on electric car development. And something-something Iraq/Hell/Handbasket.
