So applying to uic was a waste of $50 and time. They didn't even look at my application because it doesn't have the transcripts from uiuc and waubonsee.
so
now I have to figure something else out
sad part is that i'm well above the average of who gets accepted and those plebs are still in before me.
wow
So, can you get copies of your transcript wired to them?
Get on that, talk to admissions, if someone "cant help you" ask to speak to someone who can.

The guy I talked to on the phone gave me that canned "it was a very competitive application semester" line.
Apparently since I dont have receipt for my transcripts being sent before the deadline of march 31st, there's nothing I can do.
Why does our education system suck the small dick of capitalism? Education should not be this difficult to obtain.
If there is something I can do, I don't know what it is. I don't have the time to try anything more until wednesday. I have too much class stuff to get done before then.

HA! Like education is affected by the market. If anything it should be more capitalistic. Schools need a swift reminder that YOU the student are their customer and should treat you as such. Right now, schools are just sucking the sweet sweet dick of federal loan money.
Take a restaurant for example. Imagine if a restaurant denied you service because you didn't show them the receipts for the last 3 restaurants you ate at? How long would they stay in business?

I eagerly await the opening of U of Dtrain, the school that lets in anyone, regardless of their qualifications, as long as they can afford the bill. I think we'd get some really top-notch graduates out of that place.

lol
but seriously, education should be free
[/quote]
if it were free it'd be even harder for you to get in

Everything should be free*
*Almost nothing is ever free. Services are never free.
