well, I've got a fever.
I feel like I'm going crazy, I keep trying to go to sleep but my brain keeps trying to convince me that some nonsense about a minature airship once I go to sleep. This is not the first time this has happened, I can't sleep, just end up tossing and turning, having a hard time breathing, head if pulsing like crazy, and I've got a fever. The normal allergy remedy stuff doesn't appear to be working.

I have none. This apartment is sorely under-prepared for allergies or colds.

I guess that means you need to get your happy ass to Walgreens son.
And now I still have to go into work, despite telling them I'm sick. How about that.

But remember that all is not lost from within the friend zone.
Yeah... Today was not so awkward, which is good, but I still am trying not to spend too much time around her. We walked back from English and all was fine, but there was defs a regretful train of thought running behind my eyes most of the time, and also for most of the class itself.
Also she's going out of her way to say hi nate/bye nate, which is probably a good thing, but its still fucking with my mind. I thought I was clear that I needed a few days first... I'll be half way out the door and I'll have to mutter an awkward bye, otherwise I'm being a dick.
Also one of her roommates (the one she asked for advice just prior to talking to me) did not say hello when I walked past her getting into the elevator this morning. Hopefully she's not mad about me failing to not be a dick some times.
At least the other roommate is going to drink with me tomorrow.
Just take it easy Stein. She didn't do anything wrong and was honest with you about how she felt, and so were you. Be patient and keep a cool head. Friend zone isn't all that fun, but you're still part of her life (if you choose to remain so). It can give you plenty of opportunities to observe and learn, and if you're patient enough and manage to grow closer to her as a friend, you will eventually find a time when you can try and escalate things again, possibly with better success. The friend zone also means you can go ahead and explore other people as well.
Just don't sabotage yourself by letting negative thoughts and emotions take over your mind. That's what can fuck everything over.
I might not be the best person to take relationship advice from, so take it all with a big grain of salt. If what I'm saying sounds like bullshit, let me know and I'll stop.

Seems like a good bunch of advice.
Don't think too darn hard about it, you might be creating situations that don't exist.

Right, I know. I do tend to overthink things a lot. I just need a few days to get my head back on straight and figure my shit out.
Ever need advice or a second opinion on anything? How about some talking points or witty remarks? Pocket Rummy has a solid response just for you!
I think in these circumnstances a pocker Kor would be more effective, just squeeze him and hear him say "MAN UP!"
