Went to dinner with the parents which was nice. Then got lectured to afterward about how I am a terrible person, am ruining my life, and the FBI is going to come knocking down my door and arresting me because of it. I wish I was making this shit up. Haven't lived with them for years, I just don't think they got the message yet. Just about ready to cut ties with these people completely.
I must ask, how and/or why (if it's not too personal) do they think you're ruining your life and that the FBI will come knock down your door?

Because they're certifiably insane. Somehow the reasoning came out to I have alcohol in my apartment and I'm a few months shy of 21, and I keep a concealed carry in my car which, in AZ is also a no-no under 21. Because I work for a Fortune 500, the FBI is obviously watching me and already knows these things, and they're coming to get me. Again, you can't make this shit up.
So the FBI is enforcing state laws eh?

FBI ticketed me for littering once, but only after the trash blew across state lines

I keep it hidden. Just have it around because I come and go at weird hours of the morning.
Been sick for 2 weeks. That's enough. I want to survive. Going to the doctor.
Found some nasty liquor in the back of my liquor cabinet. Meet me in the drunk thread.
Been avoiding a project for the last couple months due to depression/lack of motivation, figured i'd figure it out closer to the install. The worst has come to pass, the install starts tomorrow and I haven't even started the software yet, and instead of being able to take the time to get it done, I have to support a different install because the scheduling gods have frowned upon me.
Got sick of being depressed, went to doctor, increased my meds, still depressed but it's only been 6 days on the new dosage.

I was told some depression meds can take 7-10 days to take effect (and the same goes for dosage changes), I'm sure you'll be fine though.

Wife has been sick since we moved into our new condo. Going on 4 months, she says terrible pain in arms and back of neck. She said it first felt as if that part of the body just "fell asleep and tingles" nowadays she says it feels more like a sunburn. We've already seen several doctors, psychiatrist, blood test, brain scan, MRI, nothing has come up. She's been on a cocktail of meds with no results. She has had less and less faith for a medical solution, she has been Googling her symptoms, she's convinced that she has Electrosensitivity, we even paid 340$ to have some guy take a bunch of measurements in our home. It's been hard being her rock and trying to be there for her in her time of need for so long.

It may be cleaned on the outside but not necessarily truly clean everywhere, and for some people it just doesn't affect them (oddly, and because of this some people use to blame angry spirits...and still do). You should get someone to look into that possibility (even if you don't experience symptoms).
If the condo association sold it/rented it to you knowingly with mold you may have a suit on your hands as well.
Grandma passed last night. A bit of the feels but more worried about my mom. This headache I have at work is not helping at all thoughÂ
. All in all I I'm taking it in stride and it helped that it was a rapid but noticed decline instead of sudden, we all knew it was coming. It's nice to know shes in a better place nowÂ
Just got off the phone with the auto shop that's doing my state inspection and emissions and he told me that my car will need around $900-$1200 worth of repairs. The car's worth $1500, and I have no income or cash left. I can't afford this shit right now. :'(

I don't have any spare cars any more though :/ neither was judged as worth repairing so both were scrapped.
That said, get the inspection report and a repair estimate in writing, if they're being shady then it'll show on the inspection report. I had one guy back in VA claim I needed $1k in repairs, but only put on the inspection report that i had a brakelight out, so that's all I was obligated to repair.

Windows since 95 exploded when you changed chipsets.
Linux is better, what more do you want?
I changed motherboards in my 98 machine and my xp machine twice without having to do a clean install.Â
Clean installs are such a pain when you only have an upgrade disc.Â
